Do you know anybody living with HIV or AIDS? Nope... but I know someone that died from it. No but I do know that HIV is an ssRNA virus and that the reverse transcriptase it carries has terrible accuracy. Several orders of magnitude worse than DNA polymerase. My sister used to have a friend who had AIDS, but he died several years ago. No, but really today there are allot of drugs that prolong the live of the patients with this serious disease, Some saying they have no more virus in their blood.That is good, and monthly there is new things that help all these victims. |
