The UK Coalition of People Living with HIV and AIDS is the voice of people living with HIV in the UK. As a charity led by and for people living with HIV and AIDS, it ensures that our diverse voices are heard by: informing and lobbying government, the NHS, the voluntary sector and international groups, as well as participating in policy debates that affect care for people like us. UKC publishes Positive Nation and is the lead and accountable body in the Positive Futures partnership.
Positively Women works to improve the quality of life for women and families affected by HIV. We do this by providing specialist support to women living with HIV, and enabling women to make informed choices. The organisation challenges stigma and discrimination. Central to Positively Women is the ethos of support for women living with HIV by women living with HIV
The National Long-Term Survivors Group, which operates as a self-help group, first met in Birmingham in June 1992. It now offers four residential weekends each year. These weekends provide a safe and secure environment for people who have been living with HIV for five years or more, to come together and share.
The National AIDS Trust is the UK’s leading, independent policy and campaigning voice on HIV and AIDS. We develop policies, campaign to halt the spread of HIV and AIDS and improve the quality of life of people affected by HIV, both in the UK and internationally.
