Where can I get advice and information?

There are many HIV organisations in the UK, too many to list here. These are some of our main partner organisations which you may find useful to get in touch with:

HIV i-base

HIV i-Base is an HIV positive led activist group that produces treatment information for positive people & health care professionals. It runs a Treatment Phoneline, produces various publications including a series of Guides To Combination Therapy, and HIV Treatment Bulletin (htb) a technical review of latest treatment research and news relating to clinical management of HIV.

NAM

NAM is a charity that publishes information for people affected by HIV, delivering reliable and accurate HIV information to HIV positive people and to the professionals who treat, support and care for them. Publishes a range of patient information booklets and a monthly newsletter AIDS Treatment Update (ATU), and HIV Weekly a weekly email news digest. It also provides monthly Information Forums, held in central London.

Terrence Higgins Trust

National HIV and sexual health charity, offering a range of services throughout England, Scotland and Wales. It provides information, advice and support through its telephone service THT Direct, a gateway to services within Terrence Higgins Trust
and services provided by other organisations.
